WHERE IT
STARTED.
It started long before I thought of photography as a profession. As a kid, I was always carrying disposable cameras and photographing whatever caught my attention.
In 2009, I found myself in Antarctica supporting the National Science Foundation. It remains one of the most extraordinary places I’ve ever experienced. Surrounded by a landscape unlike anything I had seen before, I bought my first professional camera.
That experience changed the way I looked at photography. I became less interested in simply recording where I had been and more interested in preserving what a place — or a person — felt like.
That curiosity still drives the work today.
THE CAMERA
COMES SECOND.
The strongest photographs happen when people stop thinking about being photographed.
My job is to create the conditions for that to happen. I guide the light, the composition, and the direction, but the photograph works best when the person in front of the camera can settle into the moment.
Conversation matters. Comfort matters. Trust matters. Whether the setting is a cigar lounge, a private portrait session, a vineyard, or somewhere far from home, I’m looking for something that feels honest rather than staged.
LET’S CREATE
SOMETHING WORTH
REMEMBERING.
Every project starts with a conversation. Tell me what you have in mind, and we’ll take it from there.
