We create a calm, private environment where you never have to wonder what to do next. I guide the lighting, posing, expression, and details while giving you enough space to settle into the experience.

An individually designed portrait experience created around your comfort, confidence, and personal vision.
Every session begins with a private conversation so we can design the experience around you before you ever step in front of the camera.
- Up to 2 hours A relaxed session with time for changes, adjustments, and creative variety.
- Pre-session planning consultation We’ll discuss wardrobe, comfort, styling, privacy, and what you want the photographs to feel like.
- 2–3 wardrobe looks Time to create variation while keeping the session intentional and unhurried.
- Complete posing & artistic direction You never need to know what to do in front of the camera. I guide the process from beginning to end.
- 25+ professionally edited portraits Your finished photographs are delivered in full resolution through a private online gallery.
- Personal-use print release Your finished digital collection is yours to enjoy and print for personal use.
- Complete discretion Your photographs are never published, shared, or used for promotion without your written permission.

A collection of portraits created around wine, conversation, and atmosphere — from private sessions, tastings, events, and winery settings.
Each image is thoughtfully directed without feeling overly staged.
The wine is part of the atmosphere, not a prop. The goal is portraiture that feels polished, relaxed, and true to the person in front of the camera.

From our first conversation to your finished collection, every part of the experience is designed around privacy, comfort, and thoughtful direction.
We begin privately with what you want to create, your comfort level, and the way you want to be photographed.
We choose wardrobe, styling, makeup if desired, and the setting — including the Abaci Photo mobile studio, your home, hotel, or another private location.
Your two-hour session is fully guided. I direct the lighting, posing, expression, movement, and details throughout.
Receive 25+ professionally edited, full-resolution portraits through a private online gallery.

The Private Portrait is designed to feel personal, comfortable, and completely considered. These are some of the questions clients often have before reaching out.
01 DO I HAVE TO BE NUDE? +
Absolutely not. There is no required level of undress for a Private Portrait session.
Your photographs can be fully clothed, lingerie-based, implied, nude, or anywhere in between. We establish your comfort level before the session and work entirely within it.
02 WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE? +
The location is selected as part of the planning process and depends on the experience we want to create.
One option is the Abaci Photo mobile studio — a private, controlled photography space that allows the portrait experience to come to you.
Sessions may also take place in your home, a hotel suite, a private studio, or another carefully selected location. We’ll choose the setting that offers the right combination of privacy, comfort, atmosphere, and visual character.
03 CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME? +
Yes. If having a trusted friend or partner present would make you more comfortable, you are welcome to bring them.
If you would also like that person photographed, let me know during the planning conversation so the session can be designed appropriately.
04 WILL MY PHOTOGRAPHS EVER BE SHARED? +
Not without your permission.
Private Portrait sessions are confidential by default. Your photographs will not be published on my website, social media, advertising, portfolio, or promotional materials unless you specifically provide written permission.
You never need to agree to image sharing in order to book or receive the full Private Portrait experience.
05 WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND OR FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE? +
You are always in control of your comfort level.
If something does not feel right, we can change the pose, change the wardrobe, change the direction of the session, take a break, or simply move on.
Creating a photograph is never more important than maintaining trust during the experience.
06 HOW MUCH RETOUCHING IS DONE? +
Every finished portrait is professionally edited with attention to skin tone, temporary blemishes, stray hairs, distracting details, contrast, and overall polish.
My approach is to refine the photograph without turning you into someone else. The finished images should still look and feel like you.
07 HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY FINISHED PORTRAITS? +
Your finished collection includes 25 or more professionally edited, full-resolution portraits delivered through a private online gallery.
Fine-art prints, albums, and custom presentation options can also be added to your commission.
BEFORE YOU STEP
IN FRONT OF
THE CAMERA
You don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose, what photographs you want, or exactly how the session should look.
THE CONVERSATION
Before the session, we’ll talk privately about what you want to create, what you’re comfortable with, and anything you don’t want photographed.
WARDROBE
We’ll plan two to three looks together. Lingerie is only one option — the session can be as revealing or as restrained as you want it to be.
HAIR & MAKEUP
Come as yourself or add professional makeup to the experience. If you choose professional makeup, we’ll coordinate it as part of the session planning.
THE SESSION
You do not need to practice posing. Once you arrive, I’ll direct lighting, posture, hands, expression, movement, and the small details that make the photograph work.
